Information, boarding conditions and border formalities with Adriatic Lines

The passenger complies with border formalities. When boarding, always bring a valid ticket. Bring necessary documents, including any visas. A driver's license does not count as ID for international travel. If you do not present the required documents, you will compensate for any damages incurred by us.

Boarding Conditions

Read these terms on our website. These terms may not be printed on your ticket or boarding pass. Ask for the information at the check-in point. By boarding, you automatically agree to these terms.

Price with Adriatic Lines

Your ticket includes the sea voyage, departure and arrival port taxes, any charges, and fuel surcharge. We set and manage the prices. If taxes, charges or surcharges increase, we adjust the price, even if you have already paid.

Validity of the Ticket

The ticket is non-transferable and valid only for you, the ship, and the destination specified. The ticket has a validity date. You can buy one-way or round-trip tickets. Round-trip tickets are valid for the same day. Fill in your information correctly when you make your reservation. If the details do not match the document presented at check-in, we may refuse boarding. We do not replace lost tickets. To travel, you must repurchase the ticket.

Conditions for Passengers

You guarantee that you and your companions are in good health and fit to travel. The weather may change during the trip. If you have a medical condition, inform us before departure. The captain may deny boarding if you are not in proper condition. Always check your reservation details and bring the necessary documents.

Special Needs

Communicate your special needs now at the time of booking. Enter the information in the "Additional Notes" section. If you are not self-sufficient, travel with a responsible person at least 16 years old. Passengers with reduced mobility must travel with a responsible companion. We transport wheelchairs, electric wheelchairs and walkers free of charge. Electric scooters are not allowed. Our crew will provide assistance, but cannot administer medication or lift you.

Minors

We do not accept minors under the age of 16 unless accompanied by an adult at least 18 years old. In school groups, a responsible person at least 18 years old must accompany the group and provide a list with each passenger's information. Find out about regulations for minors traveling other than with parents or guardians. If you are traveling with a minor who is not your child, submit the required legal documentation. Otherwise, the minor will not be allowed to board and there will be no refund.

Boarding with Adriatico Lines

Check the ship's date and time on the ticket. Confirm the reservation 24 hours before departure for both routes. Check in on time; in Venice and Croatia, check-in closes 15 minutes before departure.

Baggage Allowed

With your ticket you can take 1 checked-in baggage with no size limit and 1 carry-on baggage not exceeding 56 cm x 45 cm x 25 cm and 10 kg. Bring your laptop, purchases, camera, etc. in your carry-on baggage. If you book extra luggage, you pay an extra fee: €5 per bag per route if booked in advance or €10 at check-in. Infants are not entitled to baggage, but can bring a folding stroller for free. You can add booster seats or cribs if you exceed the limit; in this case you will pay an extra fee. Bicycles are not considered baggage and cost €10 each. Reserve your bicycle in advance or at check-in, as space is limited. E-bikes and e-scooters are not allowed. Place a label with your name on each piece of luggage. Follow the staff's instructions for checking luggage. Pets We do not allow pets on the international route between Dubrovnik and Budva. If traveling with animals, use the land border crossing. Bring your international passport and documents showing required vaccinations. If documents or vaccinations are missing, you will compensate for any damages and additional costs. Cats travel in appropriate cages. Dogs must not exceed 60 cm in length and 50 cm in height and must have a leash and muzzle. Announce your pet at the time of booking. The captain may deny boarding of the animal, in which case you will not receive a refund for either the animal's ticket or your own.

Refunds and Reservation Changes

All reservations are subject to penalties. If you cancel up to 14 days before departure, you receive a full refund. If you cancel 14 to 2 days before, you receive 80% of the refund. If you cancel between 24 and 48 hours before, you receive 50% of the refund. If you cancel within 24 hours before, you receive no refund. If you do not check in or show up, you will receive no refund. If you change your reservation and the new ticket costs more, you pay the difference. If it costs less, you will not receive a refund of the difference. We do not accept name changes. Changes are subject to availability.

Handling of Complaints.

If the service is not being provided correctly, report the problem to one of our representatives immediately. Work together to resolve the situation. If no solution is found on the spot, send a written complaint to the agency where you purchased the ticket within 8 days of your return. Send each complaint separately. During the process, you do not involve third parties or institutions. We can extend the time for a decision. The refund is limited to the cost of the ticket and does not cover consequential damages.

Delays, Cancellations and Changes of Route.

We may replace the ship with another one. We may delay, cancel, or change the route without notice due to unforeseen events, weather conditions, strikes, or technical failures. If we cancel your trip, we refund the unused portion of your ticket. We are not liable for any direct or indirect damages. Times shown are estimated and may vary. We are not liable for delays caused by port operations. If we offer alternate transportation, you may accept it or request a refund. If you accept the alternate transportation, you forfeit the refund. The alternate transportation does not guarantee the same time. If your trip is canceled, you are entitled to a refund equal to 50% of the ticket, according to EU regulations.

Lost Property

We are not liable for lost or damaged luggage and personal items left in the terminal or on board.

Compensation

You indemnify us for penalties, fines, loss or damage caused by your actions or those of your companions. Passenger Commitments You warrant that you are authorized to accept these terms for you and those traveling with you. You agree to provide all documents necessary to embark and to abide by the laws of the port.

Responsibilities of Travel Agents.

The travel agent or third-party vendor must notify you of these terms. If he or she fails to do so, the agent is liable for any damages. The agent must also inform you of any updates. We are not liable for incorrect or incomplete information provided by the agent.

Security

Show your ticket and ID if requested by a ship's officer. Allow baggage inspection if requested. Port authorities may charge extra fees, which we cannot predict.

Jurisdiction

This contract applies under Croatian law. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent court in Zagreb, Croatia.
